If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. If you register for an event and find the material too advanced, too simple, or in any way not what you were expecting, then let us make things right. You’ll receive a prompt, no-hassle refund. The only thing we ask is that you do let us know within a reasonable time.
We issue refunds for digital products within 30 days of the original purchase completion of the product. Recurring or subscription purchases that are automatically processed will also be available for a refund within 30 days of each purchase completion. Only the most recent recurring purchase is available for refund. Recurring or subscription purchases may be cancelled at any time.
We recommend contacting us for assistance if you experience any issues receiving or downloading our products.
Live classes and events
We issue refunds for in-person or remote live classes and events within 30 days of the first day of the class or event. Refunds for recurring or subscription classes follow the same rules as for digital products.
You may sometimes have the chance to help support Take Up Code through donations. These are not purchases and are not available for refunds. You can cancel your patronage at any time to stop future donations. If you receive a reward for your donation, these rewards are not purchases. They’re our way of saying, “Thank you!”
Take Up Code sometimes recommends products and services available elsewhere online. These are real recommendations chosen to help you to improve. The recommendations are provided to you with special affiliate links that will take you to the other sites where you can make purchases. Any purchases you make on these other sites are between you and the vendor. If you seek refunds or exchanges, this request must be made through the same vendor that you used to complete the purchase. Take Up Code has no ability to offer a refund or exchange even if we wanted to in this situation. As part of our recommendation, we will make sure that you don’t pay more by using our recommendation than if you were to make the same purchase without using our affiliate link to make the purchase. We also choose reputable vendors for our recommendations.
Our physical products can be returned within 30 days of the original purchase of the product. A new product may be exchanged for another product or returned for a refund.
To be eligible for a return, please make sure that:
- The product was purchased in the last 30 days.
- You obtained a Return Merchandise Number (RMN) from us. This is just to let us know that we should expect a return and from who.

Shipping charges incurred in connection with the return of a physical product are refundable.
